The Little Black Dress

At some point or another we have all had to find a little black dress. When you find the perfect one it’s like GOLD. It is that one dress you know you can pull out of your closet for just about any occasion. It’s that dress that fits perfect, looks perfect and gives you the confidence you need to make it through the night.

I have recently been tasked with finding a black bridesmaid dress, hence were the need to write about it came from. I have scoured the internet looking for a dress and have stumble across quite a few that are amazing at, of course, a great price point. Everything is under $100.

The first place I looked, of course, was Amazon, since I needed to purchase a few. It was great that I could get them quickly and be able to return with no hassle. All of the below dresses you can find on my Amazon Page.

My next go to online shop is always Revolve. They have so many options and you can easily search for what you need with all of the filters they allow. These dresses are more on the “going out” or cocktail side instead of bridesmaid. But nonetheless great additions for a grab and go black dress. There is a line that Revolve carries called Superdown that is a great price point. All the dresses below are Superdown.

The first dress is called Naya and is more of a cocktail dress with this fold-over detail at the chest and the material is a little bit more substantial. The second dress, called adeline, is more of a going out dress, the material is on the thinner side and it is shorter in length. It has this great tie detail in the back over the shoulders that makes it a little more special. The last dress, called Kirra, is also more of a going out dress. I loved this strappy tie back. The front is super simple and I love that it is long sleeve.

Now back to the whole reason I even started this black dress quest… the bridesmaid dress. A great go to for bridesmaid dresses is Lulus.com. You can literally choose Bridesmaid dress at the top and then filter by color, length, price, etc. I love that almost all of the dresses are something that you will actually wear again!

The first dress from Lulus is this Stunning Maxi dress. It got exceptional reviews online. I love that it is sophisticated but still gives a little edge with the off the shoulder neckline and the v in the front. Comes in xs- xl and is only $86.

The second dress is this Strappy Black Floor Length dress. It comes xs- xl. The dress does run a bit big so I would size down. This dress also received excellent reviews. It is a lightweight Georgette material. The back lacing detail gives the perfect amount of sexiness. And the best part is it is only $58!

The last dress is very simple but fits beautifully. It is exclusive to Lulus and is called the Infinite Glory Black Maxi dress. It is made of a stretch knit, has adjustable straps and a mermaid hem. Just the right amount of details to make it stand out and seem special. This dress also comes in sizes xs-xl and is $84.
